黙示録(神の予言）を学びなさい
10:1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
10:2 He had in his hand a little open book. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
10:3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
10:4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’t write them.”
10:5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,
10:6 and swore by him
who lives forever and ever,
who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,
10:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants, the prophets.
10:8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, “Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
10:9 I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me, “Take it, and eat it up. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
10:10 I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
10:11 They told me, “You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
10:1わたしは、もうひとりの強い御使が、雲に包まれて、天から降りて来るのを見た。その頭に、にじをいただき、その顔は太陽のようで、その足は火の柱のようであった。
10:2彼は、開かれた小さな巻物を手に持っていた。そして、右足を海の上に、左足を地の上に踏みおろして、
10:3ししがほえるように大声で叫んだ。彼が叫ぶと、七つの雷がおのおのその声を発した。
10:4七つの雷が声を発した時、わたしはそれを書きとめようとした。すると、天から声があって、「七つの雷の語ったことを封印せよ。それを書きとめるな」と言うのを聞いた。
10:5それから、海と地の上に立っているのをわたしが見たあの御使は、天にむけて右手を上げ、
10:6天とその中にあるもの、地とその中にあるもの、海とその中にあるものを造り、世々限りなく生きておられるかたをさして誓った、「もう時がない。
10:7第七の御使が吹き鳴らすラッパの音がする時には、神がそのしもべ、預言者たちにお告げになったとおり、神の奥義は成就される」。
10:8すると、前に天から聞えてきた声が、またわたしに語って言った、「さあ行って、海と地との上に立っている御使の手に開かれている巻物を、受け取りなさい」。
10:9そこで、わたしはその御使のもとに行って、「その小さな巻物を下さい」と言った。すると、彼は言った、「取って、それを食べてしまいなさい。あなたの腹には苦いが、口には蜜のように甘い」。
10:10わたしは御使の手からその小さな巻物を受け取って食べてしまった。すると、わたしの口には蜜のように甘かったが、それを食べたら、腹が苦くなった。
10:11その時、「あなたは、
もう一度、
多くの民族、
国民、国語、王たちについて、
預言せねばならない」（黙示録を学ぶ）

ふたりの証人の活動
神の測り竿
11:1 A reed like a rod was given to me. Someone said, “Rise, and measure God’s temple, and the altar, and those who worship in it.
11:2 Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don’t measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.
11:1それから、わたしはつえのような測りざおを与えられて、こう命じられた、「さあ立って、神の聖所と祭壇（ヨハネ生前時には第2神殿は破壊（AD70）されている、大患難時代の後半が始まる時には第3神殿が造られている予言）と、そこで礼拝している人々とを、測りなさい。
11:2聖所の外の庭はそのままにしておきなさい。それを測ってはならない。そこは異邦人に与えられた所だから。彼らは、四十二か月（大艱難時代の後半の3年半）の間この聖なる都（エルサレム）を踏みにじるであろう。
ふたりの証人
11:3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundrfed sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
11:4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, standing before the Lord of the earth.
11:5 If anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. If anyone desires to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
11:6 These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
11:3そしてわたしは、わたしのふたりの証人（イスラエル限定の伝道）に、荒布を着て、千二百六十日のあいだ預言することを許そう」。
11:4彼らは、全地の主のみまえに立っている二本のオリブの木（祭司的指導者）、また、二つの燭台（イスラエル）である。（旧約ゼカリヤ書４暗闇を照らす）
11:5もし彼らに害を加えようとする者があれば、彼らの口から火（ナホム書１；６神の怒り）が出て、その敵を滅ぼすであろう。もし彼らに害を加えようとする者があれば、その者はこのように殺されねばならない。
11:6預言をしている期間、彼らは、天を閉じて雨を降らせないようにする力を持っている。さらにまた、水を血に変え、何度でも思うままに、あらゆる災害で地を打つ力を持っている。
第７のラッパの裁き

11:7 When they have finished their testimony,
the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.
11:8 Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
11:9 From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
11:10 Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. They will give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
11:11 After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.
11:12 I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.
11:13 In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:14 The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe comes quickly.
11:7そして、彼らがそのあかしを終えると、底知れぬ所（アビス）からのぼって来る獣（反キリスト）iが、彼らと戦って打ち勝ち、彼らを殺す。
11:8彼らの死体はソドムや、エジプトにたとえられている大いなる都（エルサレム）の大通りにさらされる。彼らの主も、この都で十字架につけられたのである。
11:9いろいろな民族、部族、国語、国民に属する人々が、三日半の間、彼らの死体をながめるが、その死体を墓に納めることは許さない。
11:10地に住む人々は、彼らのことで喜び楽しみ、互に贈り物をしあう。このふたりの預言者は、地に住む者たちを悩ましたからである。
11:11三日半の後、いのちの息が、神から出て彼らの中にはいり、そして、彼らが立ち上がったので、それを見た人々は非常な恐怖に襲われた。
11:12その時、天から大きな声がして、「ここに上ってきなさい」と言うのを、彼らは聞いた。そして、彼らは雲に乗って天に上った。彼らの敵はそれを見た。
11:13この時、大地震が起って、都（エルサレム）の十分の一は倒れ、その地震で七千人が死に、生き残った人々は驚き恐れて、天の神に栄光を帰した。

11:15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”
11:16 The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
11:17 saying: “We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was {TR adds “and who is coming”}; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.
11:18 The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
11:19 God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.
11:15第七の御使が、ラッパを吹き鳴らした。すると、大きな声々が天に起って言った。（予言的宣言をした）「この世の国は、われらの主とそのキリストとの国となった。主は世々限りなく支配なさるであろう」。
11:16そして、神のみまえで座についている二十四人の長老は、ひれ伏し、神を拝して言った、
11:17「今いまし、昔いませる、全能者にして主なる神よ。大いなる御力をふるって支配なさったことを、感謝します。
11:18諸国民は怒り狂いましたが、あなたも怒りをあらわされました。そして、死人をさばき、あなたのしもべなる預言者、聖徒、小さき者も、大いなる者も、すべて御名をおそれる者たちに報いを与え、また、地を滅ぼす者どもを滅ぼして下さる時がきました」。
11:19そして、天にある神の聖所が開けて、聖所の中に契約の箱が見えた。また、いなずまと、もろもろの声と、雷鳴と、地震とが起り、大粒の雹が降った。

12:1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
12:2 She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.
12:1また、大いなるしるしが天に現れた。ひとりの女(ヤハウェの妻＝イスラエル）が太陽を着て、足の下に月を踏み、その頭に十二の星の冠をかぶっていた。（旧約創世記37 ;９-11）
12:2この女は子（イスラエルの民）を宿しており、産みの苦しみと悩みとのために、泣き叫んでいた。
12:3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.
12:4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
12:3また、もう一つのしるしが天に現れた。見よ、大きな、赤い龍（サタン）がいた。それに七つの頭と十の角とがあり、その頭に七つの冠をかぶっていた。
12:4その尾は天の星の三分の一を掃き寄せ、それらを地に投げ落した。龍（サタン＝当時のローマ帝国）は子を産もうとしている女の前に立ち、生れたなら、その子（メシア）を食い尽そうとかまえていた。
12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Hおer child was caught up to God, and to his throne.
12:6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
12:5女は男の子（イエス）を産んだが、彼は鉄のつえをもってすべての国民を治めるべき者である。この子は、神のみもとに（十字架で死に）、その御座のところに、引き上げられた。
12:6女（イスラエル）は荒野へ逃げて行った。そこには、彼女が千二百六十日（大艱難時代の中間・反キリストがおがめと命じた時から）のあいだ養われるように、神の用意された場所があった。

12:7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.
12:8 They didn’t prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven.
12:9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
12:10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation,
the power, and
the Kingdom of our God, and
the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
12:11 They overcame him
because of the Lamb’s blood, and because ofthe word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.
12:12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.”
12:13 When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
12:14 Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
12:15 The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
12:16 The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.
12:17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.
12:18 Then he stood on the sand of the sea.
12:7さて、天では戦いが起った。ミカエル（天使長・イスラエルを守る守護天使）とその御使たちとが、龍と戦ったのである。龍もその使たちも応戦したが、
12:8勝てなかった。そして、もはや天（第三の天）には彼らのおる所がなくなった。
12:9この巨大な龍、すなわち、悪魔とか、サタンとか呼ばれ、全世界を惑わす年を経たへびは、地に投げ落され、その使たちも、もろともに投げ落された。
12:10その時わたしは、大きな声が天でこう言う（殉教者たちの声）のを聞いた、「今や、われらの神の救い（神の計画）と力（神の計画の成就をもたらす力）と国（メシア的の王国）と、神のキリストの権威（メシア王国を統治する）とは、現れた。われらの兄弟らを訴える者、夜昼われらの神のみまえで彼らを訴える者は、投げ落された。
12:11兄弟たちは、小羊の血（信ずる者の清め）と彼らのあかしの言葉（十字架の言葉）とによって、彼にうち勝ち、死に至るまでもそのいのちを惜（イエスを表現することを自らの命より尊ぶ）しまなかった。
12:12それゆえに、天とその中に住む者たちよ、大いに喜べ。しかし、地と海よ、おまえたちはわざわいである。悪魔が、自分の時が短いのを知り、激しい怒りをもって、おまえたちのところに下ってきたからである」
12:13龍（悪魔）は、自分が地上に投げ落されたと知ると、男子（イエス）を産んだ女（イスラエル）を追いかけた。
12:14しかし、女（イスラエル）は自分の場所である荒野に飛んで行くために、大きなわし（神が速やかに守り・旧約出エジプト記19-4)の二つの翼を与えられた。そしてそこでへびからのがれて、一年、二年、また、半年の間、養われることになっていた。
12:15へびは女（イスラエル）の後に水を川のように、口から吐き出して、女（イスラエル）をおし流そうとした。
12:16しかし、地は女（イスラエル）を助けた。すなわち、地はその口を開いて、龍が口から吐き出した川を飲みほした。
12:17龍（悪魔）は、女（イスラエル）に対して怒りを発し、女の残りの子ら（真の信仰者たち）、すなわち、神の戒めを守り、イエスのあかしを持っている者（イスラエルのメシアニックジュウ）たちに対して、戦いをいどむために、出て行った。
12:18そして、海の砂の上に立った。

13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea,
having ten horns and
seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.
13:2 The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
13:3 One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast.
13:4 They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
13:5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him.
13:6 He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven.
13:7 It was given to him
to make war with the saints, and
to overcome them.
Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him.
13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him,
everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.
13:9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
13:10 If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, he must be killed. {TR reads “If anyone leads into captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with a sword.” instead of “If anyone has captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed.”} Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
13:1わたしはまた、一匹の獣が海

13:2わたしの見たこの獣（反キリスト）はひょうに似ており、その足はくまの足のようで、その口はししの口のようであった。龍は自分の力と位と大いなる権威とを、この獣に与えた。
13:3その頭の一つが、死ぬほどの傷を受けたが、その致命的な傷もなおってしまった。そこで、全地の人々は驚きおそれて、その獣に従い、
13:4また、龍（悪霊）がその権威を獣に与えたので、人々は龍を拝み、さらに、その獣を拝んで言った、「だれが、この獣に匹敵し得ようか。だれが、これと戦うことができようか」。
13:5この獣には、また、大言を吐き汚しごとを語る口が与えられ、四十二か月のあいだ活動する権威が与えられた。
13:6そこで、彼は口を開いて神を汚し、神の御名と、その幕屋、すなわち、天に住む者たちとを汚した。
13:7そして彼は、聖徒（異邦人及びユダヤ人信仰者）に戦いをいどんでこれに勝つことを許され、さらに、すべての部族、民族、国語、国民を支配する権威を与えられた。
13:8地に住む者で、ほふられた小羊（イエス）のいのちの書に、その名を世の初めからしるされていない者はみな、この獣を拝むであろう。
13:9耳のある者は、聞くがよい。
13:10とりこになるべき者は、とりこになっていく。つるぎで殺す者は、自らもつるぎで殺されねばならない。ここに、聖徒たちの忍耐と信仰とがある。

13:11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon
13:12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.
13:13 He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the sight of people.
13:14 He deceives my own {NU omits “my own”} people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived.
13:15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to
the image of the beast, that
the image of the beast should both speak, and
cause as many as wouldn’t worship the image of the beast to be killed.
13:16 He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads;
13:17 and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name.
13:18 Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.
13:11わたしはまた、ほかの獣（偽予言者）が地から上って来るのを見た。それには小羊のよう（偽の宗教的支配者）な角が二つあって、龍のように物を言った。
13:12そして、先の獣（反キリスト）の持つすべての権力をその前で働かせた。また、地と地に住む人々に、致命的な傷がいやされた先の獣を拝ませた。
13:13また、大いなるしるし(奇跡にメセージがふくまれる)を行って、人々の前で火を天から地に降らせることさえした。
13:14さらに、先の獣の前で行うのを許されたしるしで、地に住む人々を惑わし、かつ、つるぎの傷を受けてもなお生きている先の獣の像(イメージ）を造ることを、地に住む人々に命じた。
13:15それから、その獣（反キリスト）の像に息を吹き込んで、その獣の像が物を言うことさえできるようにし、また、その獣の像を拝まない者をみな殺させた。
13:16また、小さき者にも、大いなる者にも、富める者にも、貧しき者にも、自由人にも、奴隷にも、すべての人々に、その右の手あるいは額に刻印を押させ、
13:17この刻印（６６６）のない者はみな、物を買うことも売ることもできないようにした。この刻印は、その獣の名、または、その名の数字のことである。
13:18ここに、知恵が必要である。思慮のある者は、獣の数字を解くがよい。その数字とは、人間をさすものである。そして、その数字は六百六十六である。

14:1 I saw, and behold,
the Lamb standing
on Mount Zion, and
with him a number,
one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.
14:2 I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.
14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
14:4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
14:5 In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless. {TR adds “before the throne of God”}
14:6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
14:7 He said with a loud voice,
“Fear the Lord, and
give him glory;
for the hour of his judgment
has come.
Worship him who made
the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!”
14:8 Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”
14:1なお、わたしが見ていると、見よ、小羊（イエス・キリスト）がシオンの山（終末救済の舞台はエルサレム・イスラエル）に立っていた。また、十四万四千の人々（メシアニックジュウ・艱難時代を生きつづけた）の額に小羊の名（イエス）とその父の名（神の名）とが書かれていた（ヘブライ語では未来完了形）。
14:2またわたしは、大水のとどろきのような、激しい雷鳴のような声が、天から出るのを聞いた。わたしの聞いたその声は、琴をひく人が立琴をひく音のようでもあった。
14:3彼らは、御座の前、四つの生き物と長老たちとの前で、新しい歌（神の恵みと勝利）を歌った。この歌は、地からあがなわれた十四万四千人のほかは、だれも学ぶことができなかった（艱難期全期間を生きた）。
14:4彼らは、女にふれたことのない者である。彼らは、純潔な者である。そして、小羊の行く所へは、どこへでもついて行く。彼らは、神と小羊とにささげられる初穂（144000人の信仰者）として、人間の中からあがなわれた者である（第１の宣言）。
14:5彼らの口には偽りがなく、彼らは傷のない者であった。
14:6わたしは、もうひとりの御使が中空（第一の天から全世界へ）を飛ぶのを見た。彼は地に住む者、すなわち、あらゆる国民、部族、国語、民族に宣べ伝えるために、永遠の福音(第艱難時代の後半が始まる・悔い改めのよ・第２の宣言）をたずさえてきて、
14:7大声で言った、「神をおそれ、神に栄光を帰せよ。神のさばきの時がきたからである。天と地と海と水の源とを造られたかたを、伏し拝め」。
14:8また、ほかの第二の御使が、続いてきて言った、「倒れた、大いなるバビロン（反キリストは滅びる・第3の宣言）は倒れた。その不品行に対する激しい怒りのぶどう酒を、あらゆる国民に飲ませた者」。

14:9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice,
“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,
14:10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
14:11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.
14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
14:13 I heard the voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”
“Yes,” says the Spirit,
“that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.”
14:14 I looked, and behold,
a white cloud; and
on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, {Daniel 7:13} having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
14:15 Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”
14:16 He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
14:17 Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.
14:18 Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”
14:19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
14:20 The winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia. {1600 stadia = 296 kilometers or 184 miles}
14:9ほかの第三の御使が彼らに続いてきて、大声で言った、「おおよそ、獣（反キリスト）とその像とを拝み、額や手に刻印(666）を受ける者（永遠の滅び）は、
14:10神の怒りの杯に混ぜものなしに盛られた、神の激しい怒りのぶどう酒(永遠の苦しみを与える怒り）飲み、聖なる御使たちと小羊（イエスキリスト）との前で、火と硫黄とで苦しめられる。
14:11その苦しみの煙は世々限りなく立ちのぼり(永遠の苦しみ）、そして、獣（反キリス）とその像(image）とを拝む者、また、だれでもその名の刻印(666)を受けている者は、昼も夜も休みが得られない(第４の宣言・神の怒りの裁き）。
14:12ここに、神の戒めを守り、イエスを信じる信仰を持ちつづける聖徒の忍耐がある」。
14:13またわたしは、
天からの声がこう言うのを聞いた、「書きしるせ、『今から後、主にあって死ぬ死人はさいわいである』」。
御霊も言う、「しかり、彼らはその労苦を解かれて休み、そのわざは彼らについていく」（第5の宣言・永遠の休息）。
14:14また見ていると、見よ、白い雲があって、その雲の上に人の子（イエスキリスト）のような者が座しており、頭には金の冠をいただき、手には鋭いかま（救いの霊的収穫を集める）を持っていた。
14:15すると、もうひとりの御使が聖所から出てきて、雲の上に座している者にむかって大声で叫んだ、「かまを入れて刈り取りなさい。地の穀物は全く実り、刈り取るべき時がきた」。
14:16雲の上に座している者は、そのかまを地に投げ入れた。すると、地のものが刈り取られた（第6の宣言・救い）。
14:17また、もうひとりの御使が、天の聖所から出てきたが、彼もまた鋭いかまを持っていた。
14:18さらに、もうひとりの御使で、火を支配する権威を持っている者が、祭壇から出てきて、鋭いかまを持つ御使にむかい、大声で言った、「その鋭いかまを地に入れて（不信仰者の裁き）、地のぶどうのふさを刈り集めなさい。ぶどうの実がすでに熟しているから」。
14:19そこで、御使はそのかまを地に投げ入れて、地のぶどうを刈り集め、神の激しい怒りの大きな酒ぶねに投げ込んだ(第7の宣言・神の激しい怒り）。
14:20そして、その酒ぶねが都（エルサレム）の外で踏まれた。すると、血が酒ぶねから流れ出て、馬のくつわにとどくほどになり、一千六百丁(300㎞）にわたってひろがった。（ハルマゲドンの戦い）
