3-2 ヨハネ黙示録4-５

4:1 After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, l
ike a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying,
“Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.”

4:2 Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne

4:3 that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.

4:4 Around the throne were
twenty-four thrones.
On the thrones were
twenty-four elders sitting,
dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.

4:5 Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

4:6 Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

4:7 The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

4:8 The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy {Hodges/Farstad MT reads “holy” 9 times instead of 3.} is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”

4:9 When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,

4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying,

4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, {TR omits “and God, the Holy One,”} to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

4:1その後、わたしが見ていると、見よ、開いた門が天にあった。そして、さきにラッパのような声でわたしに呼びかけるのを聞いた初めの声が、「ここに上ってきなさい。そうしたら、これから後に起るべきことを、見せてあげよう」と言った。

4:2すると、たちまち、わたしは御霊に包まれた。見よ、御座が天に設けられており、その御座にいますかたがあった。

4:3その座にいますかたは、碧玉や赤めのうのように見え、また、御座のまわりには、緑玉のように見えるにじが現れていた。

4:4また、御座のまわりには
二十四の座があって、
二十四人の長老が白い衣を身にまとい、頭に金の冠（勝利者へ与えられる）をかぶって、それらの座についていた。

4:5御座からは、いなずまと、もろもろの声と、雷鳴とが、発していた。また、七つのともし火が、御座の前で燃えていた。これらは、神の七つの霊である。

4:6御座の前は、水晶に似たガラスの海のようであった。御座のそば近くそのまわりには、四つの生き物がいたが、その前にも後にも、一面に目がついていた。

4:7第一の生き物はししのようであり、第二の生き物は雄牛のようであり、第三の生き物は人のような顔をしており、第四の生き物は飛ぶわしのようであった。

4:8この四つの生き物には、それぞれ六つの翼があり、その翼のまわりも内側も目で満ちていた。そして、昼も夜も、絶え間なくこう叫びつづけていた、「聖なるかな、聖なるかな、聖なるかな、全能者にして主なる神。昔いまし、今いまし、やがてきたるべき者」

4:9これらの生き物が、御座にいまし、かつ、世々限りなく生きておられるかたに、栄光とほまれとを帰し、また、感謝をささげている時、

4:10二十四人の長老は、御座にいますかたのみまえにひれ伏し、世々限りなく生きておられるかたを拝み、彼らの冠を御座のまえに、投げ出して言った、

4:11「われらの主なる神よ、あなたこそは、栄光とほまれと力とを受けるにふさわしいかた。あなたは万物を造られました。御旨によって、万物は存在し、また造られたのであります」。

5:1 I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne,
a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.

5:2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”

5:3 No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look in it.

5:4 And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.

5:5 One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome; he who opens the book and its seven seals.”

5:6 I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

5:7 Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

5:1わたしはまた、御座にいますかたの右の手に、巻物があるのを見た。その内側にも外側にも字が書いてあって、七つの封印で封じてあった。

5:2また、ひとりの強い御使が、大声で、「その巻物を開き、封印をとくのにふさわしい者は、だれか」と呼ばわっているのを見た。

5:3しかし、天にも地にも地の下にも、この巻物を開いて、それを見ることのできる者は、ひとりもいなかった。

5:4巻物を開いてそれを見るのにふさわしい者が見当らないので、わたしは激しく泣いていた。

5:5すると、長老のひとりがわたしに言った、「泣くな。見よ、ユダ族のしし、ダビデの若枝であるかたが(キリスト）、勝利を得たので、その巻物を開き七つの封印を解くことができる」。（旧約参照）

5:6わたしはまた、御座と四つの生き物との間、長老たちの間に、ほふられたとみえる小羊（十字架で死に復活した方）が立っているのを見た。それに七つの角と七つの目とがあった。これらの目は、全世界につかわされた、神の七つの霊である。

5:7小羊は進み出て、御座にいますかたの右の手から、巻物を受けとった。

5:8 Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

5:9 They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

5:10 and made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign on earth.”

5:11 I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands;

5:12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive
the power,
wealth,
wisdom,
strength,
honor,
glory, and
blessing!”

5:13 I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen! {TR omits “Amen!”}”

5:14 The four living creatures said, “Amen!” The {TR adds “twenty-four”}elders fell down and worshiped. {TR adds “the one living forever and ever”}

5:8巻物を受けとった時、四つの生き物と二十四人の長老とは、おのおの、立琴と、香の満ちている金の鉢とを手に持って、小羊の前にひれ伏した。この香は聖徒の祈である。

5:9彼らは新しい歌を歌って言った、「あなたこそは、その巻物を受けとり、封印を解くにふさわしいかたであります。あなたはほふられ、その血によって、神のために、あらゆる部族、国語、民族、国民の中から人々をあがない、

5:10わたしたちの神のために、彼らを御国の民とし、祭司となさいました。彼らは地上を支配するに至るでしょう」。

5:11さらに見ていると、御座と生き物と長老たちとのまわりに、多くの御使たちの声が上がるのを聞いた。その数は万の幾万倍、千の幾千倍もあって、

5:12大声で叫んでいた、「ほふられた小羊こそは、力と、富と、知恵と、勢いと、ほまれと、栄光と、さんびとを受けるにふさわしい」。

5:13またわたしは、天と地、地の下と海の中にあるすべての造られたもの、そして、それらの中にあるすべてのものの言う声を聞いた、「御座にいますかたと小羊とに、さんびと、ほまれと、栄光と、権力とが、世々限りなくあるように」。

5:14四つの生き物はアァメンと唱え、長老たちはひれ伏して礼拝した。
